A 3D + AI web application for kids, built by Hoop, marketed by Hoop.

LetsPut needed a children's creative platform where kids photograph real crafts and see them in personal virtual galleries, with strict privacy, parent-friendly onboarding and a calm, non-competitive interface. Our team built the Next.js 16 and Supabase platform and is integrating the Unity WebGL 3D layer; the same agency handles its SEO.

In short

LetsPut is a children's platform that bridges physical and digital creativity, and it needed to be safe by design. We built it as a full-stack Next.js 16 and React 19 application on Supabase, with privacy enforced at the database layer, an interface designed through our product design process to stay calm and non-competitive, and a Unity WebGL layer being integrated for 3D galleries.

  • Full-stack build on Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript and Supabase
  • Privacy-first architecture with row-level security and per-user data isolation
  • Kid-first UI: calm, distraction-free, no gamification or social comparison
  • Unity WebGL 3D runtime integrated into a modern React application
The Challenge

A children's product with a demanding 3D layer

LetsPut sits at an unusual intersection. A children’s product raises the bar on safety and privacy, while a 3D gallery inside a modern React stack raises the bar on engineering. Each half of the brief made the other harder.

Nothing could be treated as an afterthought: authentication had to work for parents, the interface had to stay calm and free of competitive mechanics, and user-generated photos needed scalable storage that stayed isolated per account.

01

A safe, calm environment

A digital space appropriate for children: nothing noisy, nothing manipulative, nothing competitive.

02

Parent-friendly secure authentication

Secure sign-in with simple, transparent onboarding for the parents who manage each child’s profile.

03

Privacy-first data isolation

Every account’s data had to be completely isolated from every other account’s, by design.

04

An interface without gamification

An intuitive UI with no leaderboards, no competitive elements and no social comparison.

05

Unity WebGL inside React

Integrating a Unity 3D runtime into a modern Next.js and React application without compromising either.

06

Scalable media storage

Storage for user-generated photos and assets that scales with growth while staying private per account.

Our Solution

Privacy at the data layer, calm at the interface layer

We built LetsPut on Next.js 16 and React 19 with TypeScript, using Supabase for authentication, storage and the database. Privacy is enforced through Supabase row-level security, so each account’s data is isolated at the database itself rather than relying on application code alone.

The interface uses Radix UI and shadcn/ui components with Tailwind CSS, keeping it minimal, calm and responsive across devices. On that foundation, we are integrating a Unity WebGL runtime to power immersive 3D virtual galleries.

Build Status

What's live, and what's still being built

LetsPut is an ongoing engagement, built in phases. The account, profile and gallery foundation comes first; the 3D and AI layer builds on top of it.

Live in the current build

The foundation

  • Parent accounts with secure Supabase authentication
  • Multiple child profiles under one parent account, with an Add Child flow
  • Personal walls of 12 frames per child, with progress tracking per wall
  • Camera and photo upload straight onto a wall
  • Past Wall archive, plus Settings, Help and Log Out
In development & product vision

The 3D and AI layer

  • Unity WebGL runtime for immersive 3D virtual galleries
  • Craft-photo-to-3D asset generation
  • Style presets: Toy, Cartoon, Realistic and Low Poly
  • Asset library with GLB export, sharing and embedding

Shown in the product concept above. Scope and release timing follow the client's roadmap.

Every Feature We Built

A full feature set across four areas

Each area was engineered as its own module inside one Next.js application, so the 3D layer can grow without reworking accounts, profiles or storage underneath it.

Accounts & Privacy

  • Parent Authentication (Supabase Auth)
  • Multi-Child Profiles
  • Row-Level Security
  • Per-User Data Isolation

Galleries & Walls

  • 12-Frame Personal Walls
  • Frame Progress Tracking
  • Past Wall Archive
  • Camera & Photo Upload

3D & AI (In Development)

  • Unity WebGL Runtime
  • Craft-to-3D Generation
  • Style Presets
  • GLB Asset Export

Platform

  • Cloud Storage & Database
  • Responsive Tailwind UI
  • Radix + shadcn/ui Components
  • Vercel-Hosted Live Demo

1

Privacy Architecture

Isolation enforced where the data lives

01

Row-level security

Supabase row-level security policies mean each account can only reach its own rows, enforced by the database rather than trusted to the UI.

02

Parent-managed accounts

Authentication is built around the parent, who manages each child’s profile through simple, transparent flows.

03

No social or competitive layer

There are no public feeds or comparison features, so the product’s surface area for privacy risk stays small.
