What can customers earn points for?
Purchases earn points per $1 spent, with an optional minimum order. On top of that you can switch on a signup bonus, profile completion (adding a date of birth), a birthday bonus, social follows and referrals — each with its own points value.
What rewards can customers redeem?
You create rewards with a points cost and a discount — percentage off, a fixed amount or free shipping — which customers redeem for a discount code at checkout. You can also let customers choose how many points to redeem.
How do VIP tiers work?
Tiers unlock at points thresholds you set — Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum by default — and each tier can carry a points multiplier and free shipping. Qualification can use a rolling window (30–3,650 days) instead of lifetime totals, so tiers reflect recent activity. Only the tier changes; the points balance stays the same.
Can I migrate points from another app?
Yes. Import Points on the Customers screen takes a CSV of your existing customers and balances, and you can export at any time.
Does it support referrals?
Yes. Customers share a link, the friend gets a discount and the referrer earns a reward once the friend’s order qualifies. You set the minimum order, how long the link lasts, and milestone bonuses for advocates who refer repeatedly.
Does it work with Shopify Checkout?
Yes. Rewards become Shopify discount codes at checkout, the app runs inside Shopify Admin, and billing is handled on Shopify’s own secure billing page.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan covers up to 100 orders a month with core points and rewards. Fraud and COD protection is on for every plan, including Free.
Can I customise the rewards widget?
Yes. Set the primary, secondary and text colours, the floating button label and the panel title, with a live preview as you change them. Your brand colours can carry through to loyalty emails too.
Do customers get emailed about their points?
Yes. Transactional emails cover points earned, rewards redeemed, points expiry reminders and win-back. You send from your own verified domain through Resend, and email branding picks up your logo, store name and colours.
What does the analytics screen show?
Total members, redemption rate, average points per member, points outstanding, points liability in real currency, points redeemed and breakage rate — plus engagement, rewards, referrals and risk views. Rates stay hidden until there is enough data to mean anything.
